"My experience with ULC is an eye opener. Volunteering to teach is something new to me. But one goes to volunteer not to choose to do what they want, but to offer whatever help they could. You don’t have a choice when you see all the refugee children want to learn as much as they could. You have to help them because they too have dreams and goals, and the only thing that is missing is the education to achieve them … due to the tragic circumstances that deprived them for pursuing that dreams. Volunteering gives you great opportunity to change lives, including your own."
